About The Chef
Chef Heath has been a vegetarian for 27 years and a strict vegan for the last 5 of those. He has worked in the food and beverage industry for over 30 years. He believes in creating amazing vegan food that can be enjoyed by all. By making delicious food and showing what is possible using only plant sources, he helps save the planet – the animals on it, and our promotes better health in the lives of his customer. His guiding principle when creating a culinary experience is: “Live a life worth living!”
His time is shared between the upper valley of New Hampshire/Vermont and Halong Bay, Vietnam. His adventurous nature has taken him around the world to compete in international athletic events, including his participation in the conceptual beginnings of Spartan Race. Healthy choices have played a big part in shaping the man he is today.
About The Food
With a limited selection of plant-based food options in the upper valley area, Chef Heath is happy to provide. Black Magic Mexican offers gourmet plant-based vegan Mexican food that is not only delicious, but also healthy. Black Magic Mexican serves up vegan cheese sauce made from cashews, fresh vegetables like grilled corn, pico de gallo, guacamole, and crisp lettuce. Sauces like chipotle aioli and jalapeno good sauce are scratch made. Every item is completely vegan, well thought out, and totally delicious.
You can find more “traditional” Mexican items on the Black Magic Mexican like nachos, burritos, tacos, and quesadillas which are stuffed, filled, and topped with your choice of vegan plant-based meats like chicken, chorizo, carne asada, and taco meat. Black Magic also offers flavorful rice and black beans on our burritos.
